At FidgetPals, we combine the next generation of technology with what we believe are some of the world’s most talented artists and designers. Additive manufacturing is difficult to scale and regulate within the EU, and this is where we come in. We purchase or lease licenses from skilled artists and create sustainable, scalable production in Denmark.
Through collaboration with retailers across Denmark, we are able to distribute these beautiful and interactive products. To do this as sustainably as possible, we have the following four milestones.
With nature in focus
Fauna and flora are under pressure worldwide. Help us help them. The FidgetPals brand is intended to donate a percentage of its profits to suitable charitable organizations - This will be a priority once we are profitable!
Sustainable and renewable production
Our materials must consist of 100% renewable or sustainably sourced plastics. All plastic waste generated during production is collected and sent for remelting. This recycled plastic is then used by us to create new products or to improve existing ones.
Reduction of pre- and post-process waste
Waste is unavoidable. However, we strive to eliminate or reuse as much as possible through agreements with our suppliers. During production, there will inevitably be second- and third-grade products. Instead of viewing these as waste, we see them as an opportunity to donate to people in vulnerable situations.
Reuse, Reduce, Recycle
We do not accept the modern standard of single-use plastic. That is why you will not find single-use plastics in our packaging. In addition, we aim to reduce disposable packaging by making it engaging and interactive on our larger products. Our additive manufacturing processes use less plastic than traditional injection molding, and our high-quality geometric optimization ensures that our products can withstand gentle play, as well as some of the more passionate players. Furthermore, our bioplastics are sourced from 100% renewable materials. Waste generation is unavoidable, which is why we collect all of it. Through our partnership with Nordic Extrusion, our waste is transformed into new, high-quality products.
